Chen Mo took a stone from his Universe Bag. With a flick of his finger, the camera in front of him was pierced straight through by the stone and turned into scraps.
In the underground shelter, Bashe immediately noticed that one image on the surveillance monitor had gone black. He promptly checked the darkened feed, hoping to locate nearby cameras and find the enemy.
What he had not expected was for the feeds from the surrounding cameras to turn black one after another, indicating that the intruder had destroyed them. He searched unwillingly, trying to find even one usable camera, but every time he switched feeds, it was as though the cameras were deliberately defying him. Each one went black as soon as he selected it, and gradually, more and more of the screens before him darkened.
"Careless!" Bashe said gloomily as every monitor before him turned black. Back when the Main base's security had been set up, they had ordered a batch of miniature surveillance cameras from abroad, intended for concealed monitoring.
At the time, Bashe had wanted to keep a few for this base to expand the surveillance coverage. But the cameras were expensive and tightly controlled, and he had also felt that this place did not really need them, so he had not held any back.
Thinking about it now, he really had been careless. If he had known this would happen, he should have kept some of those miniature cameras.
Chen Mo darted swiftly around the base's perimeter. Whenever he
