As mercenaries, both Tra and William had their own pride, but before someone like Abel, they could only endure.
"Tra, that man..." William said uncertainly.
"That's right! He's definitely a superhuman!" Tra said.
"You're sure?" William asked doubtfully.
"I'm sure!" Tra watched Abel's receding figure. "There isn't a single ordinary person under Fei Charlie. Besides, he was provoking us with his words just now because he wanted us to make a move against him."
"Why?"
"To people like them, we're no different from ants. So there's no reason why. Tell me, if you wanted to crush an ant, would you have any particular thoughts about it?" Tra said with a sigh.
That was simply the nature of the world. The strong naturally crushed the weak. As for whether it was deliberate, whether they had been dragged into it, or whether there was some motive behind it—heh, they were overthinking it. It was only that, while passing by, the ant happened to be in the way, and their shoe happened to come down on it.
William nodded without saying anything. After standing quietly for a while, he returned to the vehicle. No one knew what he was thinking. Tra patted William on the shoulder and said nothing more, instead directing the convoy toward the direction Abel had indicated.
In fact, before coming to Cambodia, he and Tra had already known that superhumans existed in this world. They existed not only in the East, but also in Europe, where they came from.
The backer behind the mercenaries was a superhuman organization—an organization of Western Ability Users. It was a thigh as thick as could be, thicker than the governments of some European countries.
Because of this, Tra had seen Ability Users fight enemies during several missions.
Those scenes were unforgettable for Tra.
