At last, everyone let out a long breath. Compared with other Monsters, there were very few flying Monsters—only a few hundred. Perhaps there were only so many droplet-shaped sacs at the top of the tower, which was why there were only so many flying Monsters.
But inside this tower-shaped structure, anyone without formidable combat power would truly be brought to their knees upon entering.
These flying Monsters were immensely strong, with sharp claws and equally sharp beaks. Killing humans was effortless for them.
Looking at the droplet-shaped sacs overhead, everyone still could not figure out how they produced light. Of course, no one intended to climb up and investigate. These things were not Tina's target, so as long as the Monsters were eliminated, that was enough.
Several of the droplet-shaped sacs were dark brown, and the light they emitted was dimmed and obscured. Everyone felt awful as they looked at them, because they all knew why those sacs had become like that. Each one had formed after one of their own Team Members had been seized by a monster and bled out.
During the recent monster attack, several mercenaries and Ability Users had died! Every encounter with monsters claimed different lives. The cost was somewhat too great.
Since Tina had been the main force against the flying Monsters, everyone saw her sitting on the ground to recover her ability. Yam led several Ability Users over and surrounded Tina, protecting her from further disturbance.
Meanwhile, Fei Charlie led the remaining Ability Users in clearing away the flying monsters. Tra and William also brought their respective Team Members over to help. However, the flying monsters were large, while the current space was cramped. captain Tina was also sitting there recovering her ability, so they could not burn the monster corpses away.
