"Medic, examine Monroe first!" Tina called the medic over and pointed at Chen Mo.
Since Chen Mo had shown signs of a headache, Tina naturally had the medic ease it somewhat. Still, it was merely a gesture of goodwill, something to make Chen Mo remember her. Of course, this was only a small show of concern. Tina would need to keep paying attention to him.
Although Chen Mo might break through and become a Psychic Ability User, that was merely her speculation. Still, it did not stop her from giving Chen Mo a few minor favors. Greater favors were out of the question and unrealistic.
To become a Psychic Ability User, to break through from an ordinary person into a transcendent, the odds were simply too low. An ordinary person might never achieve it in his entire life. The main reason was the barrier of the Spiritual Sea—how could that be so easily broken through?
To break through the barrier of the Spiritual Sea, the prerequisite was having sufficient Mental Power, enough to meet the minimum standard of a Psychic Ability User. Then, one needed stimulation under certain conditions to allow that Mental Power to break through the Spiritual Sea's barrier.
Such stimulation could come from overwhelming grief or joy, from a particular event, or from something with special effects, such as precious plants capable of enhancing Mental Power.
But on Earth today, precious plants related to Mental Power had basically gone extinct. There were none left!
Take Tina herself, for example. When she had broken through and become an Ability User, she had also needed a certain stroke of fortune.
If it had been easy, there would not be so few Mental Ability Users in the world, and Mental Power would not be regarded as such a rare ability.
