Tina wiped out one batch of snakes, but more still poured in densely from behind, surging forward like a tide.
However, Tina could not unleash Mental Storm continuously and could only watch as the snakes filled the gap again.
Fortunately, Fei Charlie, Yam, and the others acted in time. One Ability User attack after another exploded above the swarm, wiping out the rushing snakes.
"Winnie! Winnie!" Tra immediately rushed over to check on the bitten mercenary.
The King Cobra had attacked too quickly, leaving everyone no time to react. The bitten mercenary had immediately toppled face-first onto the ground.
But even after Tra called out several times, the mercenary named Winnie showed no response. Ignoring the approaching snakes, Tra ran to Winnie's side and vigorously patted his shoulder, but still received no response. He quickly reached out and turned the mercenary over.
"Damn it!" Tra said viciously. The mercenary named Winnie before him had turned completely black in the face. His hands and every other patch of exposed skin had turned black as well!
His eyes were closed, and he showed no response whatsoever. Tra checked his breathing and found none. Then he pressed on his carotid artery and felt no pulse either.
It was obvious that Winnie had died from Snake Venom after being bitten. But Tra had not expected this snake's venom to be so potent that it could kill someone in such a short time.
"He's dead!" Tra informed all the mercenaries through the Throat Mic, then added, "Be careful not to get bitten! This snake's venom kills very quickly!"
The venomous snake that had bitten the mercenary was already dead. It had been struck by Mental Storm and killed in one blow, but the mercenary could no longer be saved!
