Tina had her reasons for giving Tra those instructions!
If they wanted to use their abilities, the Ability Users naturally had to lean out into the spiral staircase. If the Metal Monsters targeted them at that moment and launched a long-range attack with those horse-chopping blades, whether it grazed them or hit them directly, it could be fatal to an Ability User!
Other than herself, Yam, and Fei Charlie, the other Ability Users were relatively weak. Therefore, they needed to lure out the Metal Monsters' horse-chopping blades and leave every Metal Monster empty-handed. Then, it would be much easier for the Ability Users to use their abilities.
At the very least, they needed enough distance for the Ability Users to unleash their abilities.
Of course, after giving Tra his orders, Tina did not simply wait around. She called Mary, Mofasa, and several others over and had them use their abilities to create a wall of mixed ice and earth at the entrance to the spiral staircase.
If luring away the horse-chopping blades took too long and those Metal Monsters climbed into the Great Hall, it would be difficult to deal with them. Everyone might even have to retreat. It would be better to seal off the entrance with abilities first.
While Mofasa and the others used their abilities, Tina took out the key from her pocket again—the jade artifact—and inserted it into the keyhole. If the Metal Monsters broke through the ice-and-earth wall, she would immediately close off the spiral staircase entrance. That might hold them back for a while.
As for what came next, it would not be too late to reopen it once they had figured out how to deal with the Metal Monsters.
Tina actually had quite a headache dealing with these metal lumps. In particular, her
