Heh heh!
Chen Mo's mouth twitched when he heard that. Damn, not even TV dramas were scripted this absurdly.
By this point, he was certain these three women had been scammed. What business in the world made money that easily and then told them about it? Who the hell would be that stupid? If there really were profits like that, people would sell the pot and pawn the iron to invest everything themselves. Why would they bring those women in?
And bringing them in was just ridiculous. At most, if they needed to turn over some funds, they might offer you double the profit. Anyone who agreed to that would have to have taken a blow to the head. When those Wall Street fellows set up financing funds, even with guaranteed principal and safety, a ten percent return would make everyone who heard it think it was a trap.
No one could guarantee both the principal and a ten percent profit. Generally speaking, investments came with gains and losses. Being able to make a profit most of the time already made someone a very good investor.
Even people like Soros could not promise returns like that. It was not that they could not earn that much, but if they did, why the hell would they give you the profits?
For example, Soros once made a three-hundred-percent profit on an investment, but the fund participants only received around twenty percent, and that was already considered a high return!
Damn, a fivefold net profit? Even as a joke, that was absurd! And yet people believed it—three people, no less. Heh heh!
Even if they did bring them in, they would not split the profits according to the actual earnings. Usually, they would merely offer interest slightly higher than bank rates or lending
