The lead had gone cold, leaving Chen Mo speechless once again.
Originally, he had thought that after catching Gao Yang, he would be able to figure out the relationship between Wang Ling and Ghost Spirit, or perhaps find Ghost Spirit. But he had not expected Gao Yang to know so little.
"Who were you contacting on the computer tonight?" Chen Mo asked.
"My superior. Someone codenamed Ava," Gao Yang said.
"Have you ever met Ava?" Chen Mo asked.
Gao Yang shook his head. "My contact with my superior, Ava, has always been through the internet. We've never met."
Chen Mo found that rather strange. Was this Ava not afraid Gao Yang might pull something or betray him? Since the thought had occurred to him, he asked, "You and your superior have never met. Isn't he worried you might play some tricks?"

"I see."
Chen Mo nodded, then seemed to recall something. He looked at Gao Yang and asked, "Do you know Ghost Spirit?"
Upon hearing Chen Mo's question, Gao Yang sank into thought. Finally, he said, "I've heard the name Ghost Spirit before, but I've never met this person."
Just as Chen Mo had expected.
Since Gao Yang had never even come into contact with his superior, how could someone like Ghost Spirit, a fellow who hid in the shadows to get things done, possibly expose himself in broad daylight? It was only natural that Gao Yang had never met him.
"Is your contact with your superior at fixed times, or irregularly?"
