There were two ways to break an Illusion Array.
One was to overcome it with brute force. If one's strength was great enough, one could simply use True Essence to crush through it and break the Illusion Array. However, this required strength greater than that of the person controlling the array, and greater than the combined strength of both the array and its controller.
The other was to use Restrictions to break the array's Formation Base. In other words, one would use Restrictions to seize control of the array from its controller. Once control had been taken, the people trapped within could be kicked out of the array, achieving the goal of rescuing them.
However, Chen Mo could not use either of these methods at the moment.
As for the first method, he did not know whether his strength at the fifth level of the Foundation Establishment Realm was enough to surpass the array's hidden controller. If it was not, he would expose himself—and that kind of exposure could cost him his life.
Even if his strength matched that of the person behind the scenes, the array's enhancement would still prevent him from breaking it.
Thus, the first method was basically impossible to use.
The second method involved using Restrictions. However, to seize control of the Illusion Array through Restrictions, he would need to understand the Illusion Array extremely well. Every Restriction had to be correct, or he would suffer backlash from the array. He might even be pulled into the Illusion Array himself and affected by it, while also exposing himself.
Therefore, the second method was impossible as well.
With both methods unavailable, Chen Mo found himself in a difficult position. What should he do?
After thinking it over, he finally decided to use another method—one that could barely
