"Someone's coming!" Zhang Mei spotted a figure appearing over the mountain ridge in the distance, then running toward them. Though the trees blocked the view, the figure kept appearing now and then and was clearly heading their way. She shouted even louder and stepped forward, waving both hands in hopes that the person would hurry over.
Hearing Zhang Mei's shouts, Liang Huaishan and Sun Hongkai turned and saw a figure rushing toward them from afar. Hope immediately surged within them. As if they had seen salvation, they joined Zhang Mei in calling out. They had not expected to actually find someone, and all three were so emotional that tears welled up in their eyes.

As Chen Mo expected, they chattered on about a great deal, only leaving him more confused. Still, he roughly confirmed that it had likely been a Short-tailed Viper. A bite from that snake would be troublesome, but fortunately for her, she had encountered him.
