The morning after Tushan Xinhua left, Xiao Mo packed his things and prepared to move to the other residence at the foot of the mountain.
Tushan Jingci had also, for once, woken up early. She was awake before Xiao Mo left.
After breakfast, Tushan Jingci and Yueshi saw Xiao Mo off to his new home.
They arrived at the foot of the mountain.
It was a bamboo courtyard.
The courtyard was hidden in a bamboo forest.
It was a couple of sizes smaller than the courtyard where Tushan Jingci lived.
But it was more than big enough for Xiao Mo to live in alone.
Besides, the bamboo courtyard was indeed secluded and peaceful.
Xiao Mo had lived on Qianxue Peak for so many years, yet if no one had told him about it, he would never have known there was a courtyard hidden in this bamboo forest at the foot of the mountain.
Xiao Mo figured that some scholar from Qianxue Peak must have once studied here and built himself a place to stay. After the scholar left, Hanshan Academy hadn't rented out the bamboo courtyard.
"Miss, Sister Yueshi, you should head back. I can clean up the courtyard myself." Xiao Mo turned around and bowed to the two of them.
"Xiao Mo, let me help you clean." Tushan Jingci looked at Xiao Mo reluctantly, seeming unwilling to leave so soon.
"Miss, you're a noble young lady. How could I let you help a servant like me clean? If Madam found out, I'd surely be punished." Xiao Mo shook his head with a smile. "But once I'm done cleaning, you can come sit here whenever you like."

Tushan Jingci lowered her head. She didn't want Xiao Mo to be blamed by her mother, so she didn't press him.
