In an instant, the earth let out a pained groan.
A massive crack spread wildly through the forest with Poison Fang at its center, as if some ancient beast were trying to break free from beneath the ground. The heavy layers of soil were violently flung aside, countless trees uprooted, dirt and severed roots flying everywhere!
Hidden underground, Sen felt an irresistible crushing force pressing in from every direction. His plan to quietly escape using Earth Release was instantly ruined, and he was forcibly "squeezed" out of the ground in a pathetic state.
"Leave him a painkiller and pursue!" Poison Fang, the team leader, ordered coldly.
Yumeno quickly placed a bottle of the best sedative beside her teammate. A tremor of determined resolve colored her voice.
"We'll avenge you!"
With that, she chased after them without looking back.
Sen's gaze remained utterly calm as he watched the three pursuers relentlessly chasing him from behind.
That brief moment of respite had already restored much of his stamina and chakra.
More importantly, the first step of his plan had succeeded—
The most troublesome aerial scout had been eliminated.
Next, he only needed to repeat the same tactic: use heavy mist to divide the battlefield and defeat them one by one.
With that thought, Sen formed hand seals once more.
"Water Release: Hidden Mist Technique!"
Dense fog appeared out of nowhere, rapidly enveloping the entire hillside and swallowing the three pursuers within it.
In a ninja battle, victory or defeat could be decided in an instant, and the outcome was life or death. As long as it could defeat the enemy, what did it matter if the same move was used thousands of times?
"That move again!" Seeing this, Poison Fang immediately gave his orders. "Yumeno, use your Water Mosquitoes to locate him!
