Sakura was somewhat nervous about the upcoming exam, but with Naruto and Sasuke's formidable strength, she was not overly worried.
After the three met up, they headed toward the Ninja Academy together.
The moment they reached the school entrance, they sensed an atmosphere unlike usual.
Quite a few ninjas from other villages had gathered outside the school.
Some were doing push-ups to warm up, while others stretched their bodies. Their eyes carried killing intent and an air of aloofness.
The sight greatly excited Sasuke.
After entering the school building and reaching the second floor, they saw a small crowd gathered in the hallway.
At the center of the crowd stood two familiar figures.
They were Izumo Kamizuki and Kotetsu Hagane, using the Transformation Jutsu.
The two gate guards had transformed into teenage boys and were blocking the entrance to the so-called "Classroom 301," arrogantly making things difficult for several genin who wanted to enter.
"Give up. With your strength, even if you get in, you'll only humiliate yourselves."
As Izumo spoke, he punched the green-clad boy who had tried to force his way through, knocking him to the ground.
That boy was Rock Lee.
