When the two arrived in the Deep Sea...
Namikaze Minato's attention was completely captured by the sight before him.
"Che, is... is this the Deep Sea Kingdom ruin you told me about?"
Minato looked around, his azure eyes filled with undisguised awe.
There was no biting cold, no suffocating darkness, and certainly no terrifying water pressure capable of crushing steel into a flat disc.
They stood in a vast Underground Plaza. Though the air was slightly damp and stale, they could breathe without any trouble.
The strange ores embedded in the walls gave off a faint blue glow, illuminating the magnificent yet dilapidated Temple.
At the center of the plaza, the Ancient Magic Circle that had glowed green had already dimmed, leaving only some dried slime.
Two people lay sprawled at the edge of the circle.
One wore ordinary gray cloth clothes, while the other wore a Kirigakure Forehead Protector.
Both were frozen in stiff poses. When the Kirigakure ninja saw Minato, his eyes filled with terror. He clearly knew the fearsome reputation of the Yellow Flash.
"That's right." Nishikawa Tetsu patted Minato on the shoulder. "Without seeing it for yourself, who would believe that thousands of meters beneath the sea, there could be Lost Civilization Ruins where seawater doesn't flood in and you can breathe freely?" Minato walked to the edge of the plaza and looked up at the Temple's towering dome.
There, he could just make out a faint yet impenetrable transparent barrier, perfectly sealing out the turbulent black seawater beyond.
"The technology behind this barrier!" Minato couldn't help marveling. "After who knows how many years, without a continuous supply of chakra, it can still withstand the pressure of the deep sea perfectly and even maintain oxygen circulation inside."
