Chapter Summaries

Sasuke read Orochimaru’s research on how Indra and Asura’s Chakra could awaken the Rinnegan, along with advice for keeping Naruto safe. He kept Naruto trapped in Genjutsu while caring for him for half a month, and then decided it was time to reap the rewards.

Madara searched for a device to use on Naruto while Tobirama pretended to be unconscious, then returned with a blender instead of the tool he wanted. Tobirama revealed himself and taunted Madara with a story about Izuna to stall him, hoping Sasuke would return in time.

• Madara stabbed milk bottles into Tobirama, who stayed motionless and pretended to be dead.
• Madara searched the bedroom for a device, then found a blender in the kitchen and carried it back to Naruto.
• Tobirama realized Madara had mistaken the blender for Sasuke's device and decided to keep stalling him.
