The moment the incantation was spoken, fine lines of ink appeared on the parchment, like a map being drawn.
It showed every detail of Hogwarts Castle and its grounds. Just as its name, the Marauder's Map, suggested, a marked black dot moved around constantly.
Dumbledore and Grindelwald were pacing in the study. Mrs. Norris was patrolling the third floor, and Peeves was bouncing around in the Trophy Room.
Most importantly, Harry discovered that several paths led outside Hogwarts, including one to Hogsmeade.
"There are seven paths to Hogsmeade. Filch knows about four of them." Fred pointed out the routes for Harry.
"All right, little Harry, good luck." George imitated Percy.
"See you at Honeydukes."
With the Invisibility Cloak on, Harry made his way into the candy shop's cellar. He sneaked out, and as soon as he did, he spotted Bing Huan carrying several drinks and heading up the hill.
"What are you doing here, Harry?"
Before Harry could do anything, Bing Huan called out to him. They went to a corner, where Harry revealed his head.
"How did you find me?"
Bing Huan pointed at Harry's feet. Their footprints were clearly visible in the snow. But Harry didn't seem ready to give up. He motioned for Bing Huan to wait and stay quiet.
Near the Shrieking Shack, Hermione, Draco, and Ron were waiting for Bing Huan to return with the drinks.
A sharp, mocking voice came from behind them. "Daydreaming about having your own castle, Weasley?"
It was two lackeys with their new leader, Pansy. "I remember your family all sharing one room. Wouldn't a whole castle be a bit too much for you?"
"Shut up, Parkinson." Draco stepped in front of Ron.
"And you." Pansy seemed to have only just noticed Draco. "You're a traitor to Slytherin!"
