As soon as he finished speaking, the pale golden Takamagahara Power surged once more. Like two beams of light, it pierced through space in an instant, precisely locking onto the chakra signatures of Fugaku Uchiha and Uchiha Mikoto—

At that moment, the two were trapped inside their residence by Genki's domain. Their expressions were tense and wary, yet they had not sensed that death and despair had quietly descended.

A flash of light, and Fugaku Uchiha and Uchiha Mikoto appeared in the bedroom.

The moment they landed, their bodies tensed instinctively, and their chakra surged. Fugaku Uchiha's Sharingan activated at once, its three Tomoe spinning rapidly as he warily scanned his surroundings.

But in the very next instant, the wariness on his face gave way to utter shock. He felt an immense, terrifying force pressing down on him, suppressing him completely. His chakra was frozen, utterly beyond his control. Even his body would not obey him, rigid as a stone statue!

Uchiha Mikoto's face turned deathly pale. She looked instinctively at Itachi, then at Sasuke, who stood bewildered nearby. Her eyes filled with worry and confusion. "Itachi? Sasuke? What on earth is going on? Who is this person?"

Their gazes finally settled on Genki—the boy standing beside Sasuke, his eyes cold and his body radiating an earth-shattering pressure. He looked only eleven or twelve, yet regarded all living things beneath heaven with utter indifference. His frigid eyes seemed to look upon a group of ants he could toy with at will.

"Didn't you want Sasuke Uchiha to survive and kill you?" Genki said slowly, his voice cold as ice and utterly emotionless, yet as venomous blades stabbing into Itachi's heart. "I'll give you what you want! I'll let him live!"

He paused slightly, his gaze sweeping across Itachi's despairing face.
