The Kamui Dimension was swallowed by explosions in an instant. With the blasts erupting right beside him, Obito had almost nowhere to dodge. He was already inside the Kamui Dimension—where else could he go?

Worse, this technique was designed specifically to counter Susanoo. If he summoned Susanoo and tried to withstand the blasts, it probably would not end well. Then again, staying here at all would not end well.

What had seemed like a simple move had left Obito with a terrible problem.

He could stay and hold out, waiting to see whether the Mutually Multiplying Explosive Tags Technique would blow him to pieces, or return to the real world and face Nagato.

"Heh. So getting sucked into that space doesn't kill someone outright." Nagato watched the space warp and Obito fall out of it, mockery thick in his voice.

That brief hesitation had been enough for the Explosive Tags to leave Obito soot-covered and battered. Susanoo might barely withstand the blasts, but sitting there and taking them was the last thing he wanted.

It would have been too humiliating—practically the same as raising a white flag to Nagato. He would rather be blasted around inside the Kamui Dimension than face Nagato's attacks head-on.

"Hmph. He's completely dead now, body and soul. I doubt even a speck of him remains."

Obito wiped his soot-blackened face without pausing his taunts.

"You could take the finest broom you could find and still fail to sweep up a trace of him."

"Soon you'll end up just like him. But perhaps I should deal with that angel of yours first, shouldn't I?"
