Sea Soul Masters indeed held a huge advantage when fighting in the ocean, but they certainly were not invincible. On top of that, Zhang Yang's Laser had come so suddenly that this single blast sent Carl straight to the western paradise.

After piercing through Carl's head, the Laser triggered its explosive property. The Great White Shark, which had merely had its skull pierced, was torn apart by the violent explosion. Flesh and blood flew everywhere, while a brilliant blue glow flashed within the deep-blue sea.
Before Zhang Yang could think about what that brilliant blue light was, he heard naval soldiers aboard the frigate in Carl's direction shouting, "Under attack! Under attack! The bottom of the frigate has been damaged..."

Looking at the huge hole blasted through the frigate's hull by the Laser explosion, Zhang Yang wore an expression as though he were badly constipated.
As he approached the place where Carl had died, Zhang Yang finally saw what that brilliant blue light was.
An intact Right Leg Bone.
"A windfall from heaven." Zhang Yang looked stunned, and a string of bubbles floated from the corner of his mouth.
Because the seawater around the Soul Bone was filled with fragments of Carl's corpse and stained red with blood, Zhang Yang could only suppress his nausea and grab the Soul Bone, placing it into his Storage Soul Tool before quickly surfacing.
The moment he emerged from the water, before Zhang Yang could even make out his surroundings, he heard someone shouting overhead, "Someone has surfaced! Everyone, stay alert!"
Zhang Yang's expression tightened. Looking up at the naval soldiers who were drawing their bows and preparing to shoot him full of arrows, he snapped irritably, "Get lost. I'm Zhang Yang, Vice Captain of the Coral Supply Ship. The intruder has
