Ten days later, Tang Sect, Council Hall.
After resting for several days, Ning Rongrong had finally recovered and took the initiative to suggest visiting Tang Sect.
Ning Rongrong had finally remembered that she was still Tang Sect's finance manager, the one holding its purse strings.
Four years later, Ning Rongrong, who had been on unpaid leave, had finally remembered it was time to go back to work.
Ma Hongjun and Bai Chenxiang had left three days earlier for Ma Hongjun's hometown to visit his parents, so only Tang San and Xiao Wu came out to welcome Zhang Yang and Ning Rongrong into the Council Hall.
After entering the Council Hall, Ning Rongrong and Xiao Wu linked arms and headed for the Finance Office before the servant could even bring up the tea. That left only Zhang Yang and Tang San sitting in the Council Hall, drinking tea and chatting.
"Been a few days. How have you been?" Zhang Yang placed the Bow Case by his feet, held his teacup, and let his gaze drift toward Tang San in the main seat.
"Not bad." Tang San nodded, the Sea God's Trident in his hand resting against him. "I spent three days handling Tang Sect affairs, paid Teacher a visit, stayed with my parents for two days with Xiao Wu, and made another trip to the Clear Sky Sect."
"You've been keeping busy." Zhang Yang nodded. "Did Teacher say anything after learning that you'll break through to the Titled Douluo level within five years?"
Tang San nodded. "I got a method that isn't exactly reliable."
"Oh?" Zhang Yang was rather surprised. "Even Teacher's method for you isn't reliable?"
Tang San spread his hands. "My twin Martial Souls might conflict when absorbing Soul Rings. You haven't forgotten that, have you?"
Zhang Yang nodded.
