Another Clash
Bi Fan narrowed his eyes but said nothing. He had no idea how these people had been captured. Their auras were all extremely weak, and rescuing them all would hardly be simple.
When he fell silent, Liu Zhen sneered, "When you ran off with the Black Mo Tiger's Inner Core back then, did you ever think this would happen?"
Bi Fan glanced at him without replying. He quietly tried to use Little Shadow to rouse Zheng Shi'an, but received no response.
Noticing his subtle movement, Liu Zhen sneered. "Don't bother. Your friend with the ability to bewitch people joined my Purple Sha Demonic Sect long ago!"
Bi Fan smiled faintly and asked in return, "If he joined your sect, why is he tied up here now?"
"To avoid unnecessary trouble."
Bi Fan furrowed his brows slightly. He didn't believe for a moment that Zheng Shi'an would join a sect like the Purple Sha Demonic Sect.
"Don't believe me?" Liu Zhen looked at him with an amused smile. "How about I wake him up and let him answer for himself?"
As soon as he finished speaking, the young man stepped forward and doused Zheng Shi'an with a basin of water. Zheng Shi'an slowly opened his eyes, frowning as he struggled to adjust to the light.
After a long moment, he finally made out what was before him. Seeing everyone tied to the trees, he belatedly realized he had been deceived.
He should have known better than to trust these people!
But now, there was nothing he could do. They had all been captured. Who could possibly come and save them?
He shook his head with a bitter smile, then turned toward the people from the Purple Sha Demonic Sect. To his surprise, he spotted a familiar figure.
