Deep-Night Encirclement
Night was the most dangerous time in Heaven's Will Forest. Of course, that wasn't because there were any Chaos Fierce Beasts here, but because dozens, even hundreds, of adventure teams were hidden throughout the area.
Bi Fan and Zheng Shi'an sat in front of the campfire. He silently poked at the small fire. The two of them had to keep watch all night, and a long night without a single disturbance could easily make a person drowsy.
Zheng Shi'an was writing something on a piece of paper. After a while, he looked up at Bi Fan.
"Big brother, I put together a list of the teams that Mo Tian and the others mentioned earlier, along with those Brother Li said had made the top twenty in last year's Adventure Group Hegemony Competition. These groups are very likely to be our biggest enemies this year."
Bi Fan took the paper and looked it over. There were more than twenty adventure groups listed. Heavenly Fire Adventure Group ranked first, followed closely by a group called Death God Adventure Group.
Zheng Shi'an pointed to the name. "Xing Rang said this group fought Heavenly Fire last year, but lost, so they couldn't claim the seat of the number one adventure group."
Then he pointed to the sixth name on the list. "And there's Purple Sha Adventure Group. Brother Li told me about them. They made the top twenty last year, too. I suspect they might be made up of members of the Purple Sha Demonic Sect."
Bi Fan furrowed his brow slightly. "But isn't the Purple Sha Demonic Sect a sect? Would they take part in an Adventure Team Battle like this?"
