In a flash, he stepped into a world composed entirely of stars. Unlike Star Cloud River, which was mostly shrouded in darkness, this place was as bright as day.
The light shimmering from the various nebulae was dazzling, a riot of colors. The space was vast and boundless, countless times more magnificent than Star Cloud River.
Bi Fan stood there, dumbfounded. No one had told him what to do next. Just as he was wondering, a kind-looking old man came walking slowly toward him from the distant starry sky, smiling warmly at him.
His heart lurched. He was so moved that his eyes grew misty.
The old man was Senior Cheng Jue. Bi Fan knew that what he saw was only an illusory image left behind for the inheritance, but even so, it shook him deeply.
After all, if not for this man, he would have vanished from this world long ago.
