A Relaxed Victory
A month and a half ago, even if I'd used every trick up my sleeve, I might not have been able to withstand that attack. Too bad for you—I'm not the man I used to be.
Bi Fan sighed inwardly.
He raised his hand and reached for the heaven-shaking sword strike.
"What? He's trying to catch it with one hand?"
Has he gone mad?
Everyone was stunned to see Bi Fan reach out with just one hand to catch the strike.
They had seen Bi Fan toy with the Black Dragon Sword as if it were in the palm of his hand, so they knew he was stronger than they'd imagined.
But Li Shen's attack was much more powerful than any of his previous ones.
They'd thought Bi Fan would finally get serious. Yet he was still meeting the attack with just one hand.
Was that confidence or arrogance?
Li Shen's sword struck Bi Fan's hand.

A clear chime rang out. The Black Dragon Sword, carrying a heaven-shaking might, shuddered, and the black aura coiling around it and the Chaos Power, violent to the extreme, instantly shattered and vanished.
Li Shen's body shook. His eyes widened in disbelief.
He remained frozen in the motion of swinging his sword, a finger extended against the blade near its hilt.
In that instant, that single flick had dispersed the force behind his all-out strike.
His gaze dropped to Bi Fan, fixing on his eyes.
"How did you do that?" Li Shen's voice was full of bitterness.
All around them, startled gazes fell on Bi Fan, each carrying the same confusion.
"You're too weak!"
Li Shen shuddered. His already pale face grew even paler.
The eyes fixed on Bi Fan filled with disbelief.
