"Husband!"
Holding Li Li's small hand tightly, the young man said, "Everyone says I, Chu He, am a wastrel, but how could I, Chu He, fail to understand the bigger picture? Once I can persuade Senior Pill King to help, let's see who still dares call me a wastrel!"

The carriage continued toward the peak of Flowing Cloud Mountain. After winding along several narrow, twisting paths, they finally spotted a wooden house at the summit.
A platform stood some distance from the wooden house. Nine enormous cauldrons sat upon it. With Chu He's keen eyes, he could tell they were pill cauldrons used for alchemy.
Flames burned fiercely beneath the platform, clearly fueled by an underground earthfire vein. The platform was essentially a seal array; with the right method of activation, it could draw on the earthfire to refine pills.
