Ling Xiaoxiao was taken aback at his words and instinctively said, "Are you crazy?"
Bi Fan rubbed his head and smiled. "No, I'm serious. But then I saw that Beast King in the sky and changed my mind. That guy seems like he has a few tricks up his sleeve."
She huffed. "Good. I thought you really had that much nerve."
Bi Fan just smiled and said nothing more. In truth, if he really fought these Beast Kings to the death, even if all three attacked him at once, they would most likely die here.
But he would inevitably be injured too, and the injuries could be severe. That wouldn't do them any good later, so he gave up on the idea.
He said softly, "How about you and I switch opponents?"
Ling Xiaoxiao knitted her brows and looked at him in silence for a while. Both of them knew that among the three Beast Kings, the Black Armored Winged Insect King was the most cunning and troublesome, as well as the strongest. The Two-headed Snake was next, though its cultivation and strength were somewhat weaker.
She had originally planned to take on all three Beast Kings herself. She had only suggested fighting two because she didn't want him to feel that his manhood was being challenged. She'd hoped to ease Bi Fan's burden and let him focus on helping the main battlefield below.
