Admitting There Was an Element of Gambling
Bi Fan stood in the middle of space, his body already marked with several deep wounds carved by the turbulence. This was the best outcome he could hope for, even after dodging as much as he possibly could.
What gave him a headache was that the uncontrollable turbulence was shaking the distance between places in space, and he still hadn't had time to shatter the last two breakthrough points, located opposite each other to the north and south.
Time ticked by, second by second. There was only enough time left to drink half a cup of tea.
His gaze kept drifting toward the final two nodes. According to his calculations, if they remained intact, this space wouldn't collapse.
But he had to fend off so much turbulence that could drag him into spacetime at any moment. He had no time to spare to locate and break the two nodes one by one.
Time was running out. With less than thirty breaths remaining, the man outside the space couldn't help saying, "You don't have much time left."
Bi Fan gave a bitter smile. How could he not know? But he had no chance to make a move!
"Could you tell me exactly how much time I have?" he asked through gritted teeth, making one last request.
The man replied gently as before. "All right. I'll count down for you."

Bi Fan took a deep breath. His heart pounded in his chest. He hadn't been this nervous in a long time.
"Thirteen, twelve, eleven..."
The man's voice echoed slowly in his ears. Bi Fan drew a deep breath, a crazy idea forming in his mind. It might have been unrealistic, but in the end, he had no choice but to go for
