As soon as the two appeared, Jiang Guifan and his group's faces turned green. Their arrival hadn't exactly been unexpected, but it did nothing to ease the frustration in their hearts. That guy really was impossible to shake!
Hearing this, Tang Yunting smiled faintly. "So there really was someone hiding."
Bi Fan was startled. "You didn't spot me?"
He smiled and shook his head. "Your auras didn't leak out. I only sensed that the flow of energy in that spot was slightly different, so I guessed someone might be concealed there."
Bi Fan was at a loss for words. So he hadn't been discovered after all; he'd been bluffed into showing himself. He sighed, caught between laughter and tears. "Your senses are sharp, and your mind is keen. I'm impressed."
"Your ability to conceal yourself surprised me, too. You were barely thirty meters away from me, yet I didn't detect you. You're no ordinary person." Tang Yunting praised him without reservation. "May I ask your name? Perhaps we could get acquainted?"
Bi Fan cupped his hands and smiled. "I'm Bi Fan, an External Clan Elder of the Golden Crow Clan."
"You're Bi Fan?" Tang Xiaoli couldn't help asking from behind him, her voice full of surprise and delight.
"That's me." He nodded blankly, unsure why the little girl was so excited. To be cautious, he quietly took a step back without changing his expression. He preferred to keep his distance from this Little Ancestor Aunt and her temper.
"Hmph, what are you afraid of?" Seeing how cautious he was, Tang Xiaoli rolled her eyes and said irritably, "The rumors say you defeated Nangong Hongye of the Kirin Clan. Why are you so timid?"
