The Buried Thoughts
Tang Xiaoli sat on the ground, watching her brother rush over with the people from Shenyi Gate. Seeing him arrive covered in dust and weariness, she couldn't stop a wave of heartache from rising within her.
In her brother's heart, no matter what mistakes she made or how impulsive and willful she was, he would always care for her most and cherish her most.
Thinking of this, she lowered her head, eyes reddening as she dared not look at him again. She couldn't bear to imagine how her brother would react if she had really been defiled by the Devil Race or left dead in the wilderness.
Tang Yunting hurried to Bi Fan's side. The moment he sensed that familiar presence, he didn't even have time to thank Bi Fan. Turning toward Tang Xiaoli, he asked in a faintly trembling voice, "Xiaoli, are you all right?"
"Brother, I'm fine." Sitting on the ground, she finally couldn't hold back her sobs. Even someone as strong-willed as she was couldn't hide her vulnerability in front of her brother.
Tang Yunting reached out to pull his sister into his arms, but his hand seemed to meet an obstruction. His Soul Power quickly probed it and discovered a powerful barrier.
He was taken aback. Before Bi Fan could react, Tang Yunting placed his hand against the barrier. It held firm for only a moment before shattering with a roar.
Bi Fan's pupils suddenly contracted. Was the Soul Power of someone at the peak of the Pure Spirit Realm really this terrifying? That barrier hadn't even held out for three seconds!
Tang Yunting took his sister's hand and carefully examined her with his Soul Power. Apart from the broken bones in her knees, she had no other injuries.
At last, his anxious
