The Devil Race's Formation Masters
Tang Xiaoli walked over slowly, her cheeks faintly flushed. She sat beside him without saying a word.
Unable to see the expression on his sister's face, Tang Yunting said helplessly, "You came all this way to find me, but you're not going to tell me what's wrong? Wouldn't that make this trip pointless?"
Tang Xiaoli clenched her fists and took a deep breath. At last, she worked up the courage to say, "Big Brother, if I told you I'd fallen for Bi Fan, would you stop me?"
Tang Yunting raised his head in a daze. The black bandages fluttered in the night breeze, just like his unsettled heart—which, all the same, wasn't too surprised. After a long while, he finally asked, "Are you serious?"
Tang Xiaoli nervously squeezed her hands, then nodded earnestly. "Yes. I've thought about it for a long time. People say a young lady should be demure, but I don't think there's anything shameful about expressing your feelings to someone you like."
Tang Yunting sighed. There was no joy or anger on his handsome face, only a trace of concern. "There's nothing shameful about it. Brother Bi is an excellent person, too."
Hearing that, she couldn't help feeling delighted. She hurriedly pressed him, "So Big Brother doesn't object? I can go confess to Bi Fan, right?"
"Listen to me first." Tang Yunting sighed softly. "I don't object because Brother Bi's character, temperament, and himself are all worthy of your trust. But have you asked how he feels? And what about the young lady Xiao Xiao who follows him around? Do you know what their relationship is?"
Tang Xiaoli lowered her head and said quietly, "Not yet. But I don't think the two of them are in the kind of relationship I'm imagining."
