After Tang Yunting briefly explained where the black aura inside Feng Jue had gone, he was surprised to find that the mildly noisy surroundings had fallen unusually silent.
The silence was finally broken when Feng Xuanzhi lowered his astonished gaze and slowly asked, "Soul Devouring Evil King—is that the legendary being?"
"Probably." Tang Yunting smiled wryly and nodded. "But this isn't the Soul Devouring Evil King in his complete form. It should only be a portion of his original aura, sealed inside the soul cultivation technique I practice. As my cultivation progresses, his aura manifests as well."
"But isn't the Soul Devouring Evil King an exceptionally powerful soul spirit?" Fang Qi stared at him in shock. "Legend has it that his soul cultivation is on par with a Great Void Realm powerhouse. Even a portion of his original aura would be incredibly powerful! Given his nature, he wouldn't willingly hide inside someone's Sea of Soul, would he?"
"Of course he didn't do so willingly." Bi Fan smiled. "Xiao Xiao suppressed the Soul Devouring Evil King's aura, leaving him too afraid to act rashly."
