"I'll introduce myself. My name is Ximen Yu. You're heading to Kunlun Divine Mountain, right?" Ximen Yu said with a smile.
"What does it have to do with you whether I'm going to Kunlun Divine Mountain?" Bi Fan asked in return.
Though she was beautiful, Bi Fan had no intention of getting involved with her.
"It's like this: I'm traveling alone, and I see you are too, so I thought we could travel together. We'd both be safer that way," Ximen Yu explained.
"Sorry, I have quite a few companions, so I can't travel with you." Bi Fan shook his head.
"That's a shame. It's rare to meet a cultivator who isn't cunning and treacherous," Ximen Yu sighed.
"I'm really sorry." Bi Fan felt a little guilty.
Even so, Bi Fan still had no intention of letting Ximen Yu join them. Traveling with one more stranger brought too many uncertainties.
For his own safety and that of his companions, Bi Fan had to be extra cautious.
As he watched Ximen Yu walk away, Bi Fan felt a pang of sympathy, but he still didn't relent.
It was only a brief interlude. Bi Fan continued browsing the stalls, searching for treasures.
Bi Fan really wanted to find a bargain, but that sort of thing depended on luck. He had been browsing for days and still hadn't found one.
Still, he had gained a great deal over the past few days. Most importantly, he had learned about many rare materials and spirit medicines he hadn't known before. Seeing the real things was far better than studying them in books.
"Purple Cloud Crystal, Heavenly Stair Stone..." Bi Fan's eyes nearly dazzled at the sight of all these treasures.
But there were so many treasures that Bi
