Bi Fan was about to continue onward when he received word from Tu Yidao and the others. They had recovered from their injuries and would arrive soon.
After thinking it over, he decided to scout ahead first. Whether he found anything didn't matter; the important thing was to map out the route so Tu Yidao and the others could catch up quickly.
He didn't move very fast. After what had just happened, he was especially cautious.
He could easily handle three or five Golden Immortal experts, but if there were more, he wouldn't be able to hold them off.
So the farther he ventured into the ruins, the more careful he became.
"Gluttonous Sable, make sure you scout properly. Don't let us stumble into a trap," Bi Fan said with a smile.
"Bi Fan, don't worry. With Lord Sable here to help you, how could anyone ambush you so easily?" Dragon Sable replied with absolute confidence.
"I'd sooner believe anything else. When we ran into those five Golden Immortal experts just now, you didn't warn me," Bi Fan said, shaking his head.
