Konan cried out furiously, "You bastard! Hand over the Rinnegan!"

Obito shrugged. "Those Rinnegan never belonged to Nagato in the first place. They belonged to Uchiha Madara. Yin and Yang must be combined to attain the myriad phenomena. Only someone who possesses the powers of both the Uchiha and the Senju can awaken the Rinnegan. Nagato is an Uzumaki. He could never have awakened them.
