Why Should I Regret It?
They knew this neighborhood was nearly deserted at this hour. Zhou Linlin had run here, and now she was like a fish on a chopping board.
As the countdown Zhou Linlin was watching slowly ran out, her heart began to pound. She even closed her eyes, regretting that she hadn't brought her skateboard. At least she could have used it to protect herself.
The two thugs noticed Zhou Linlin acting strangely and grinned even more smugly. They didn't notice that the roar of engines was drawing closer.
In the darkness, two cars sped along the road without their headlights on. They waited until they were less than ten meters from the thugs before suddenly switching them on, blinding everyone in their path.

And so she watched helplessly as the two thugs who had been acting so arrogantly were run over by the cars.
Her legs went weak, and her voice trembled as she said into the phone, "A Yue, they're dead!"
Wang Yue remained calm. "It has nothing to do with you. Get back to your rental as fast as you can."
Zhou Linlin wasn't stupid, of course. She immediately realized that Wang Yue had sent the cars.
Otherwise, why would Wang Yue have said that reinforcements would arrive in thirty seconds, only for two cars to show up thirty seconds later?
