Emergency Evacuation
At the Gu residence, Wang Shanquan was still gloating at Gu Jiusi. He said disdainfully, "Don't think that just because you've contacted Youzhou and Qingzhou, I won't dare touch you. Wang Yue sighed. Villains really did talk too much. The moment he'd seen what was happening, he'd already taken out his bow, ready to shoot and catch them off guard.

Wang Yue's arrow had tremendous force. It didn't kill Wang Shanquan outright, but it struck his shoulder and knocked him off his horse.
Seeing this, Wang Yue immediately shouted, "Wang Shanquan is dead! Surrender and you'll be spared! Prefect Liu is here to offer you amnesty!"
As he shouted, his horse charged into the outer edge of Wang Shanquan's forces. The soldiers outside heard the commotion, and when they heard that Wang Shanquan was dead, they hurriedly turned to look—but Wang Shanquan was nowhere to be seen.
