When Ning Que arrived, Wang Yue was discussing matters with Chao Xiaoshu in the main hall of Shu Mountain.
The matter they were discussing was simple enough. Yan had fallen quickly, yet the three royal courts of the grasslands had joined forces. That meant someone had persuaded them to unite.
The three royal courts had formidable fighting strength. If they hadn't been held in check for centuries by the even mightier Tang, with the Master's support, they might have used their fierce cavalry to unite the world long ago.
Now, the three grassland royal courts had massed their forces along the border and were facing off against the Tang army. Tang had a slight advantage, but defeating those cavalry would be no easy task.
If the southern kingdoms made a move at a time like this, Tang would be in danger.

If Shu Mountain refused to let the Xiling Divine Palace pass through its territory, the palace would have only two routes.
One was to circle Moon Wheel Kingdom to the west of the Qing Gorge Mountains, pass through the Right Royal Court, and attack Tang from the north.
The other was to travel along the eastern side of the Qing Gorge Mountains through Song, then attack Tang from Yan. But Yan had already fallen, and
