Feng Qing Gets Raided at Home
If Wang Yue had said that to Ning Que, that kid would have begged shamelessly. After all, in Ning Que's eyes, face meant nothing.
But Fang Duobing was different. He snorted in annoyance and said, "If you're going to teach me, then teach me. Do you have to make me call you Master every time?"
Wang Yue was speechless. Was that any way to ask for a favor? He said irritably, "I've taught you so many peerless arts. What's wrong with calling me Master?"
The Gu King was getting impatient listening to them go on and on. It flew down from Wang Yue's shoulder and searched through the dusty debris before landing on a box.
As the Gu King landed, a bug suddenly flew out of the box, as if trying to escape. It was clearly a little too slow, though. The Gu King bit it at the back of the neck, and after struggling in the air for a few moments, it crashed heavily to the ground.
The Gu King eagerly devoured it. Before long, it had eaten the bug, which had somehow still managed to move after seeing it.
When it was done, the Gu King flew back into Wang Yue's hand. From the aura it conveyed, Wang Yue could tell it had eaten its fill and wanted to sleep.
In fact, it needed to evolve again.
Wang Yue was curious about that, too. Would the Gu King turn into a monster after its next evolution? He could empower it with Faith Power, so perhaps it really could become a demon.
Having thought of that, Wang Yue carefully put the Gu King away and prepared to leave. But after taking a few steps, he realized Fang Duobing hadn't moved. He asked in
