She knew many of the neighbors went as well. So she didn't stop Xiaofei, though she didn't go along herself. She still had to work hard to keep up with Wang Yue.
Xiaofei didn't have so many ambitions. All she wanted was Wang Zheng. When she got to Guo Ba Yin, Wang Zheng happened to be singing onstage. She listened for a while and realized his singing was far worse than hers. He was probably about as good as Qiqi.
What made it especially interesting was that Wang Zheng was singing their song, "Youth." The song was already rousing, but when Wang Zheng sang it, she heard it in a whole new way and found it incredibly beautiful.
