Younger Sister-in-Law
After Qiqi finished speaking, before Wang Yue could answer, Xiaofei finished throwing up. She had recovered enough strength to steady herself against the sink.
Qiqi let go of her and said, clearly displeased, "Can't you tell me? I'll just go see what Xiaofei was looking at."
Qiqi started to leave, startling Xiaofei. She hurriedly grabbed Qiqi and said in alarm, "No, don't look! It's disgusting!"
In the end, Qiqi still didn't get to see the video. Xiaofei was determined not to let her watch it, clinging to her and holding her back. Then she urged Wang Yue to turn it off.
Though Qiqi was extremely curious, their reactions told her that whatever it was, it really wasn't something she should see. She also knew that once Wang Yue had made up his mind, he wouldn't give in, so she put aside her desire to watch it for the time being.
She had already made up her mind: she'd find some time to sneak into Wang Yue's office when he wasn't paying attention. She had to know what had made Xiaofei throw up so badly.
But after throwing up, Xiaofei seemed to have truly moved on. She never brought up Wang Zheng again. Not only did she stay close to Qiqi and attend class with Guan He, she also started recording songs in earnest.
With two close friends constantly keeping her company, Qiqi never got the chance to investigate. Gradually, she put it out of her mind for the time being and happily spent time with her two friends.
But happy times were always full of surprises. Qiqi was practicing a song that day when Wang Yue's phone suddenly rang. He had no choice but to step outside to answer it, only to find that Qiqi's mother was calling.
