Shi Miao felt a little hurt by what Wang Yue had said. She knew she was in the wrong, but she just couldn't get past it. She'd let her emotions get the better of her and snapped at Miaomiao.
But now Wang Yue had said it outright, and she couldn't take it. Class had just ended, so she turned and ran out.
Miaomiao hurried after her. She was genuinely afraid Shi Miao would be mad at her.
Seeing Shi Miao run off, Wan Xing could only shake his head helplessly before getting back to what he'd been doing.
Wang Yue thought it would take ages to soothe the girl, but before long, Miaomiao and Shi Miao came running back, both cheerful as could be.

Wang Yue had seen plenty. "She must've had something good happen. The only thing that could turn Shi Miao into a little fool is her Kai Xin Ge asking her out."
Miaomiao nodded quickly, looking astonished. "Bro, how did you know? Were you spying on us?"
Before Wang Yue could answer, Wan Xing piped up, "I can vouch for that. Wang Yue hasn't left the classroom at all—not even to use the bathroom."
Wang Yue's face was covered in black lines. Why had Wan Xing needed to emphasize the second part? He raised a hand to flick Wan Xing on the forehead, but Wan Xing quickly dodged far away.
Seeing the three of them fooling around, Shi Miao couldn't help laughing too. Once she'd finished, she
