Then she turned to Wang Yue. "Bro, I'll head back first. I'm taking your laptop."
Wang Yue didn't know whether to laugh or cry. His little sister was practically robbing him now. It was his server computer, and he was in the middle of programming on it. He said grumpily, "Just go home and wash up. There are some in the storeroom. I prepared one for you a long time ago."
Wang Ying looked at him in surprise. Then she took the keys from Xie Qiao and went home.
Xie Qiao waited until Wang Ying had left before saying in astonishment, "Linlin, I never said I wanted to get a job."
Xu Lin pursed her lips and said unhappily, "You're turning down an opportunity like this? Are you crazy? Most freshmen who go out to work can do no better than handing out flyers.
"Brother Wang has arranged a special job for us that's right up our alley. You won't get another chance like this if you let it pass."
Seeing how distressed Xu Lin looked, Wang Yue said exasperatedly, "All right, go find Xu Xian and ask him to bring three computers from the storeroom. Pick a spot for yourself. I'll talk to Qiaoqiao."
Thinking of Xie Qiao as Wang Yue's girlfriend, Xu Lin hurriedly gave him a thumbs-up and said excitedly, "Nicely done, Brother Wang! I'm on your side. Give your girlfriend a good talking-to—she really doesn't know a good thing when she sees it."
With Xie Qiao glaring at her, her face flushed red, Xu Lin darted out of Wang Yue's office and went over to Xu Xian.
She slung an arm over Xu
