After Wang Yue sent a few ghosts up to Heaven, he had no idea what was happening there. He could only tell from the divination that the dozen or so ghosts were doing exceptionally well—better than anyone could have hoped.
Qin Qianxian had always been good at divination, too. After casting a hexagram himself, he found that the ghosts really were doing well. Still uncertain, he asked, "Holy Ancestor, are you judging this from the hexagram alone? What if it's wrong?"
Wang Yue really didn't want to go up to Heaven right now, and he had no other way to find out. He looked at Qin Qianxian and said helplessly, "Then what do you think we should do?"
Qin Qianxian hesitated, then said seriously, "I'm technically an undocumented person in the mortal world now. How about I go up to Heaven and see for myself?"
Wang Yue stared at him in surprise. "Are you kidding? Once you go up there, how will you keep in touch with us? How will you keep in touch with Lu Shiqi?"
Seeing that Wang Yue was worried about him, Qin Qianxian smiled. "The underworld has already become like this. I imagine Heaven isn't much different. With my abilities, I should be much safer up there.
"I'll make some Dream-Return Pills in Heaven, then send dreams to the Holy Ancestor or someone else at night. That way, the Holy Ancestor will find out what happened to the ghosts."
Wang Yue thought that made sense. If Heaven weren't in chaos, the underworld wouldn't dare descend into chaos.
But he was reluctant to let Qin Qianxian leave just like that. He rubbed his temples and said, "But Little Shiqi has been thinking about you all this time. Are you really going to abandon her?"
