On the third day, Peng Zhaosen arrived at Xiaoyu's home right on time again, ready to start her third day of training.
Every muscle in Xiaoyu's body ached. She had never suffered like this before, and she was starting to feel she couldn't take it anymore.
She looked at Peng Zhaosen and pleaded in a pitiful little voice, "Instructor, my whole body hurts. Can we train tomorrow instead?"
Peng Zhaosen wasn't moved. He was training Zhen Zhen, not Xiaoyu. If Xiaoyu quit, all the better.

Peng Zhaosen could tell Xiaoyu was trying to stall, but he didn't call her out. Even ordinary soldiers would struggle with training this intense, let alone a little girl like Xiaoyu.
Still, seeing Xiaoyu come up with that excuse so suddenly, he wondered if Zhen Zhen wasn't coming today after all. So he deliberately tested her. "If Zhen Zhen hasn't arrived in half an hour, we'll start training. If you won't train, I'll leave."
Xiaoyu's face scrunched up even tighter, but she didn't refuse, much less give up. The later they started, the better.
She prayed that Sister Zhen Zhen would take even longer to arrive, so she could put off training a little more.
As it turned out,
