Wang Yue and a group of businessmen introduced themselves to one another. He also took the opportunity to tell them about A Bao and their business, and unexpectedly managed to close several deals.
James, who had spoken up at the beginning, watched as Wang Yue and A Bao were surrounded by everyone. He seethed with resentment.
James decided that once he got home, he would have his father announce a slight cut in oil prices. He was determined to leave those two Easterners with nothing but the clothes on their backs.
A Bao thoroughly enjoyed experiencing a Western business banquet from this era before finally returning to the place where he and Wang Yue were staying.
Before heading to his own room, A Bao asked worriedly, "Bro, I heard someone say today that a few years ago, James's father bought a plot of land in Mexico and found oil beneath it. That's how their family got where they are today.
"If their family deliberately lowers prices tomorrow, will we have to put down additional deposits?"
Wang Yue knew A Bao was worried, so he smiled and shook his head. "Don't worry. I'm guessing James will definitely do that when he gets home.
"But it doesn't matter whether his family does it or not. I believe our funds can hold out until the Middle East makes its move."
Hearing Wang Yue say that, A Bao stopped trying to talk him out of it. The reason he was so willing to listen was that at the banquet, he'd met a few people through Wang Yue and learned from them how Wang Yue had recently made a killing in the stock market.
That made A Bao realize that although staying in Japan an extra half month had earned him another two million dollars,
