Though Haode found the whole thing a little strange, she thought it over carefully and agreed anyway. After all, this was the man she had chosen. She had to take a chance.
She might have been the least noticeable among her sisters, but she was the most decisive. So she made up her mind, just like the Tang Dynasty poet had once said: "Though cruelly cast aside, I shall feel no shame!"
But since this was a marriage, Haode's sisters had to be informed, and Wang Yue, as her brother-in-law, heard about it too.
