Hua Tuo nodded seriously. "The human head is an exceedingly mysterious thing. In my decades of practicing medicine, I've seen many cases of amnesia. So it's not unheard of for someone like Young Master Wang, who suffered serious injuries, to lose his memories."
Ma Liang furrowed his brow. "But the cases of amnesia I've heard of involved people forgetting everything. Young Master Wang remembers everything except his own identity. Isn't that a little strange?"
As he spoke, it was clear he was somewhat suspicious of Wang Yue's identity.
Still, Ma Liang didn't suspect Wang Yue of being a spy. After all, a spy couldn't possibly have fought so well that they could seize all of Jingzhou!

Hua Tuo thought Ma Liang was asking a medical question, so he smiled and said, "That's not difficult to understand. If someone was hurt by their own family and suffered a severe trauma, they might forget their family. Naturally, they'd forget where their home was, too. In all my years of practicing medicine, I've seen two or three cases like that."
He paused, then looked at Wang Yue. "Young Master Wang is openhearted now. It's a good thing that he doesn't remember the past."
Wang Yue bowed to Hua Tuo. "Thank you, Doctor Hua!"
Hua Tuo smiled. "Young Master Wang led Third Miss in recruiting a large number of bandits from the mountains and giving them a way to make an honest living through farming. You're a truly virtuous man. Saving you was only right."
Seeing how kindly Hua Tuo treated him, Wang Yue hesitated before saying, "Sir, there's something I don't know if I should say."
Hua Tuo smiled. "Go ahead. What could you possibly say that you shouldn't?"
Wang Yue said solemnly, "I know
