The next morning, everyone in Wang Yue's dorm finally breathed a sigh of relief. In-game, Xiao Nai was still shamelessly showering them with affection.

The Senior Basketball Farewell Game was held as scheduled at seven that evening.

Wang Yue finally got to see the legendary Great God Xiao Nai in person. He was as handsome as ever! Wang Yue wanted to become someone who could draw that kind of attention, too.

The game was divided into two teams: one made up of the senior class's department team, and the other of players from the remaining department teams. As usual, Wang Yue was assigned to guard the water cooler.

The four girls from Bei Weiwei's dorm showed up, too. Their dorm's first- and second-years quickly made room for them in the seats they'd saved, then introduced Wang Yue to them.

Wang Yue greeted them briefly, then went over to wait by the water cooler.

After they had settled in, Sisi asked cautiously, "Weiwei, you're close with your junior brothers. Is your boyfriend always like this?"

Bei Weiwei thought it over, glanced at Er Xi, then said, "I don't know them that well. Their Third Brother never played games before. They say Wang Yue's really good—not just at computer science, but mechanical design, too. He designed a voice-controlled door for their dorm that recognizes all four of their voices and opens for them."

"That's incredible! And he's only a freshman!" Sisi exclaimed.

"See? I told you! He's a little fox in the making. How else could he have Er Xi wrapped around his finger?" Xiaoling said, looking as if she'd predicted it all.

Though it was called a farewell game, it was really more of an exhibition match. Everyone on the court showed off their signature moves, drawing shrieks from the girls in the stands. Xiao Nai was especially impressive when he pulled off a 360-Degree Spin Layup. The girls' faces flushed with excitement.

Huang Tao, the eldest in the group, was sitting right next to Sisi. Watching Xiao Nai show off, he couldn't help saying to Bei Weiwei, "Senior Sister Weiwei, I'm not trying to nitpick, but Xiao Nai's taken. He's still out there attracting all those girls. Aren't you going to do something?"

"But Senior Brother Xiao Nai plays so well! I wonder how Wang Yue's doing," Er Xi chimed in, as carefree as ever.

"Senior Sister Weiwei, even the girls in your dorm who have boyfriends are getting swept away. Just look at the way all the girls around us are staring at him! You've got to act when the moment's right!" Jia Honghai overheard them and leaned over to join in.

Hearing them, Er Xi realized she hadn't exactly helped Weiwei just now. She hurried to make a suggestion. "Weiwei, why don't you take Senior Brother Xiao Nai a bottle of water? Make it clear he's yours!"

"Exactly, Weiwei. Go on!" Sisi said, pulling out a bottle of sports drink and emphasizing, "It's new. The seal's unbroken!"

Normally, Bei Weiwei would never have done something like that. But after all the goading from the eldest and second-oldest, with Sisi and Er Xi piling on, she looked at the girls around them who seemed ready to devour Xiao Nai whole, took the bottle from Sisi, and headed to the sidelines.

Wang Yue was sitting there joking around with Fourth Brother. The moment he saw Bei Weiwei walk over gracefully, he immediately understood what she was up to.

Wang Yue quickly stood up and went over to her, smiling. "Senior Sister Weiwei, nicely done! You should rein him in once in a while."

"You're clever, Junior Brother. No wonder you've got Er Xi so devoted to you. Your three roommates always praise you, too." Wang Yue had seen through her, but Weiwei wasn't flustered. She'd been practicing with Xiao Nai lately, and her own skin had gotten pretty thick.

"I'm just okay. I can't hold a candle to your Xiao Nai. Er Xi's so adorably clueless, I have to work hard." Wang Yue grinned and changed the subject. "Senior Sister Weiwei, you're just too low-key. You should've let people know ages ago that Xiao Nai has a wife."

Weiwei was about to say something else when Xiao Nai came off the court. He took the drink from her hand, unscrewed the cap, and took a long drink.

"Senior Brother Xiao Nai!" Wang Yue hurried to greet him, too.

"Mm. I've heard about you. You're quite impressive," Xiao Nai said, as calmly as ever. Still, if he hadn't seen Weiwei standing beside Wang Yue and immediately come over to guard what was his, Wang Yue might have believed him.

"Senior Brother, you're the impressive one. You haven't even graduated, and your company's already grown so big!" Wang Yue wondered when Xiao Nai had started paying attention to him. Had his three roommates sold him out?

"I know Huang Tao and the others want to come work at my company over the summer. I'd like to formally invite you and Er Xi, too." Seeing that Wang Yue looked ready to keep trading compliments all day, Xiao Nai swiftly changed the subject.

Wang Yue agreed without hesitation. He'd been in this world for a long time now, and he'd treasured the chance to learn. He'd been busy and fulfilled, and had even gained a girlfriend. But this still wasn't his world. Maybe if he followed the plot for a while, he'd be able to go home?

Xiao Nai was very pleased to have Wang Yue join them. He'd often heard about the freshman who'd recently become the Rookie King. Wang Yue didn't like joining clubs, spent plenty of time in the library, got excellent grades, and was skilled in both computer science and mechanical design. Most impressive of all, he had unusually insightful ideas about the gaming industry. Xiao Nai planned to bring him into the company for two months over the summer and see how things went.

Bei Weiwei found it especially grating to see Xiao Nai standing beside Wang Yue. Why did those two look so cozy together? So she said to Xiao Nai with an exaggeratedly serious expression, "Xiao Nai, come sit with me in the stands. You're a married man, so you need to protect yourself!"

"You're right, dear," Xiao Nai said, taking Weiwei by the hand and heading straight for her cheering section. He didn't even say goodbye. Was he really that easy to overlook?

Wang Yue watched Xiao Nai and Weiwei leave, speechless. Why did they look so perfect together? But Xiao Nai had looked pretty cool just then, hadn't he? So Wang Yue copied his manner, walked over to the water cooler, straightened his jersey, then sat beside Liu Wei with his chest out and his head held high.

Liu Wei watched Wang Yue's pretentious act and shuddered. He quickly moved one seat over, putting as much distance between himself and Wang Yue as possible. He didn't want to catch whatever he had.

During the second half of the game, Wang Yue and Liu Wei got to play for a few minutes. Wang Bryant Yue had returned to the court! In just a few minutes, Wang Yue showed off one flashy move after another, leaving several senior students in the dust.

The seniors saw their junior steal the spotlight with all his showing off, so they immediately double-teamed him several times in a row. Wang Yue had no choice but to stop and pass the ball each time.

Wang Yue complained to Yu Banshan, "Senior Brother, even an exhibition game gets double-teamed? You guys have no honor!"

Yu Banshan patted Wang Yue on the shoulder and said solemnly, "Keep showing off like that, and you're going to get beaten up."

Qiu Yonghou happened to be passing by. He heard them and chuckled, punching Wang Yue lightly. "That shameless Xiao Nai just got off the court, and now you're out here showing off. And you say we have no honor!"

Seeing how things were going, Wang Yue played a few more possessions, then voluntarily asked to go back to his beloved water cooler. At this rate, he felt like he might get carried off the court by the end of the day.

But after watching the water cooler for a while, Wang Yue suddenly thought, I can show off my relationship, too. Why am I stuck guarding this stupid water cooler?

So Wang Yue stood up again, patted Fourth Brother on the shoulder, and said with utmost seriousness, "I'm going to keep your Third Sister-in-law company. You can watch the water cooler!"

Fourth Brother watched Wang Yue, at a loss for words. Third Brother was acting way too strangely today—more bizarrely than he had during the last basketball game. It looked like he'd have to stop playing basketball with Wang Yue.

Watching Wang Yue imitate Xiao Nai and saunter over to Er Xi, Fourth Brother solemnly swore an oath to the water cooler:
