After four days, I'd finally started to feel better.
The whole ordeal was hard to put into words!
I kept running fevers, my whole body hurt, my head was foggy, and I couldn't eat.
The worst part was that at first, I couldn't find any medicine at all. I got through the hardest stretch thanks to a box of fever reducers my brother brought me.
One box, six pills. My wife and I split them between us, wondering what we'd do when we ran out if the fever still hadn't gone down.
What a damn joke!
Thankfully, I was eventually able to get some medicine. I had my mom buy it and bring it over, and that was how I managed to pull through.
I still haven't fully recovered, but all my symptoms have eased considerably. At least I'm not in a constant fog anymore.
So starting tomorrow, I'll be back to posting two chapters a day. I also want to apologize to everyone.
And of all the times for this to happen, it had to be right when I got my first round of recommendations.
