Chapter 64: Justice Could Not Stand Idly By
Zhao Bai was somewhat stunned.
Bronya patted her knees, seemingly impatient. Her palm struck them with a metallic hum. Zhao Bai imagined resting his head on them; it probably would not feel much different from lying on a knight's plate armor.
"Who taught you this?"
"Mei."
Bronya sold her out without hesitation. "She said this was a woman's battlefield, but I ran away twice. Bronya did not want to be a cowardly deserter."
"What nonsense! Misleading a child!"
Zhao Bai loudly condemned this behavior of misleading a little angel. He stepped forward and reached out, pulling Bronya up from her duck-sitting posture. She looked blank and at a loss.
"You did not run away, and you are not a deserter."
"A lap pillow is the embodiment of tackiness. Given our friendship, there really is no need for it. Put it away."
Reassured by Zhao Bai, Bronya stood up in confusion and followed him to the next attraction: the boring spinning teacups. The macaron-colored teacups had two seats inside, and while the cups spun, the base beneath them spun as well. They were even more boring than roller coasters and water-ball fights.
Zhao Bai dozed off inside the teacup, failing to notice a surveillance camera blinking red as it continuously tracked him.
This was Hutao Theme Park.
Hutao was a classic animated character created by the famous cartoonist Mr. Walter. The serialized publication titled "Hutao Adventure" remained popular around the world to this day.
At the same time, Mr. Walter also served as the de facto leader of Anti-Entropy and was one of the Herrschers.
In other words, every Hutao Theme Park in the world was Anti-Entropy's property, and every movement within them was under Anti-Entropy's control.
